Registration will lead to confiscation

You think Obama is not trying to get guns away from all law-abiding citizens? What he'll do is convert all of us law-abiding citizens into criminals.

A national database of all firearms? That just tells the government and the cops where the guns are. Obama knows, and disregards, that it is not the law-abiding citizen who is the problem.

It's the criminals, but Obama can't control them.

Just look at his stupid political stunt of coming to Chicago to throw up on guns. Did he go down to the war zone and talk to the brothers? Yeah, sure...

In a National Institute of Justice document, DOJ admits that "assault weapons" are not a major contributor to gun homicide that will have no impact on gun violence.

"Since assault weapons are not a major contributor to US gun homicide and the existing stock of guns is large, an assault weapon ban is unlikely to have an impact on gun violence. If coupled with a gun buyback and no exemptions then it could be effective."

From: "Summary of Select Firearm Violence Prevention Strategies," by Greg Ridgeway, Ph.D., Deputy Director National Institute of Justice, January 4, 2013

Gun buyback with no exemptions means CONFISCATION!

Nationwide confiscation requires REGISTRATION. The "universal background check" push in Feinstein's bill and all the Democrats in the House bills, are not simple "yes, you can buy A gun, or not," but "yes you can that S&W model xyz, serial number, nnnnnn," which will be automatically registered. Unlike today, where records of the NICS checks are deleted, they will be stored forever. Universal background checks are backdoor registration. There is (or will) be a move to require that gun dealers submit copies of their "bound book" to the ATF/FBI in order to build a registry. The pretext will be to improve gun "traces," but it will be used to build a national registry of who has what guns.

By the way, gun dealers that quit the buisness (or are shut down) are already required to turn their bound books over to the ATF. Since the requirements for record keeping go back decades, the government already has a lot historical information about gun purchases going back decades.

Additional quotes from the NIJ white report: "Fatalities from mass shootings (those with 4 or more victims in a particular place and time) account on average for 35 fatalities per year. Policies that address the larger firearm homicide issue will have a far greater impact even if they do not address the particular issues of mass shootings."

So, the gun grabbing fascists want to read the 2nd Amendment out of the Bill of Rights - for all Americans - on a pretext to save an average of 35 people per year. To save 35 per year, LAW ABIDING gun owners are to be punished by confiscation of their legal property.

Here is a plausible scenario how the gun grabbing fascists can go about confiscating guns.

It comes from Feinstein's home state, Kalifornia.

A few years back, after mandatory registration, owners of SKS rifles were "de-grandfathered" by the Attorney General, and were required to turn them in. Last month, AB 174 was introduced. The legislation reads:

"SECTION 1. Under current law, certain banned weapons are permitted under various "grandfathering in" clauses. It is the intent of the
Legislature to subsequently amend this measure to include provisions that would end all of those exemptions (snip)" http://www.leginfo.ca.gov/pub/13-14/bill/asm/ab_0151-0200/ab_174_bill_20130124_introduced.html

Got it? First you introduce a gun ban bill that promises that you can keep your existing guns (because they are grandfathered), provided that you REGISTER both yourself and your gun. Then, you pass a second law later to remove the grandfathering and make the registered owners turn them in upon pain of felony time in prison.

NO to universal background checks/registration! NO to gun bans! NO to magazine limits!

There is a pattern here.

NY State passes draconian gun ban and considers confiscation, but backs off confiscation at the last minute.

Democrats in Missouri introduces a gun ban bill including confiscation.

Democrats in Minnesota introduces a near identical bill.

Democrats in Colorado introduce bills to ban guns.

Democrats in Wisconsin introduce a bill that bans expanding bullets, bullets that are required by law for hunting.

Democrats in Washington State introduce a bill that requires semiauto gun owners to submit to searches of the homes without warrants.

Democrats in California introduce a bill that revokes all "grandfathering" of previously legal, but now banned weapons in a prelude to confiscation.

Democrats in Illinois planning to ban guns.

Once is an isolated event. Twice may be a coincidence. 8 times is ENEMY ACTION!

I believe that this is organized and orchestrated by Obama, the DNC, and his "Organizing for America" subversives. It is an attempt to force the 2nd Amendment out of the Bill of Rights. Obama and his team know darn will that these laws are unconstitutional. They believe that by the time it reaches the US Supreme Court that the issue will be moot because all guns held by Americans will be long ago confiscated by the government, or that one or more conservative justices will die and be replaced by liberals appointed by Obama who will reverse Heller and McDonald.

We are under a concentrated attack by the far left who intend to overthrow the country, and replace it with a socialist workers paradise.

They have tipped their hand and have signaled what their desired goal is. They will push and push, and each "concession" they achieve (universal checks, magazine bans, gun bans, mandatory home inspections) until they get what they want - total confiscation of all guns.

I get the idea. These political whores are riding the popular "take away guns" bandwagon for their own political self interest. What I dont get is how they can ignore the Constitution and the Supreme court ruling on the 2nd ammendment and believe that they will get away with it.
