Back in 2013 I finished a book that I had been writing about my hypnotherapy experiences, both as a practitioner and as a hypnotized person. I had worked on it off-and-on for years and, finally, I committed to finishing it - and did. The Healing Power of Hypnotherapy is available through Amazon.com as a Kindle book.
I know how I finished it - I committed to it.
And now I am committing to a second book. This one will be about my customer-service days at the Sears, Roebuck and Co. headquarters in Hoffman Estates. I've already got the title - Unthaw It.
During my almost-five years at the "glass palace" on Higgins Road, I had a variety of jobs. Most Sears employees had only two-three jobs in 30 years' employment. I was lucky and moved around a lot.
Dealing directly with retail customers was not supposed to be my job. But a very special part of it was handling complaints that made it through all the filters to "B-6", where the senior executives lived. That's when I got some of them, along with the request that I handle them personally and not farm them out to one of the off-site customer service centers.
I'd better hurry on this book. Sears may not be around much longer.

Rahm gets nailed by BGA
You'll want to read the Chicago Tribune's article today about the Better Government Association (BGA) lawsuit against Rahm Emanuel and his use of his personal email account to handle City of Chiago official business.
The BGA went after Rahm and had to haul him into court to force him to admit what I will call an improper use of a personal email account for official government business. Now the BGA will get its hands on 2,700 emails that hadn't been available previously.
Did Rahm get his email handling skills from Hillary? Y' think?
Why is this important in Woodstock or McHenry County?
Several years ago (five? six? more?) I was bothered by email replies from City of Woodstock officials who uses their personal email addresses for City of Woodstock business. How did that work?
If I sent an email to a City Councilman at his official City of Woodstock email address, I later received a reply from his personal email account. This happened more than once and with more than one Councilman.
The email to the City's email address must have been auto-forwarded to the Councilman and then, for his convenience (and I hoped only for his convenience), he would reply from his personal email service.
I raised this question with the Illinois Attorney General's Public Access Counselor (PAC), because I was concerned about the Illinois Open Records Act and whether his personal email would be available under a FOIA request. The PAC's reply was that it "would be better" for him to reply from the official City email address.
Even though I approached the City of Woodstock about this, nothing changed.
Watch this, the next time you email the Mayor or a City Councilman at his official City email address. When you receive your reply, note from what email address it is coming.
If it comes to you from a personal email address, do you wonder if that reply would be found and included upon a FOIA request?

Michelle's "no hope" = puke
Michelle Obama makes me want to puke.
She has her nose out front today about feeling what "no hope" feels like. She doesn't have a clue what "no hope" feels like.
Every poor person (black, white, brown, red, yellow) ought to slam her words and jam them down Oprah's throat. Michelle and family have been sucking on the Federal teat for eight years, flying around the world on vacations largely funded by taxpayer dollars. And she says she feels "no hope"?
Maybe she ought to put on some old clothes (she could borrow them or run down to Goodwill) and walk around Harlem or the south side of Chicago or southeast Washington, D.C. (without bodyguards, of course) and talk to some people who know what "no hope" really means.
Why is she even getting any air time? Oh, I know. The liberal media just loves her.
What was the net worth of the Obamas eight years ago? And what is it today?
Remember Hillary's comment about leaving the White House broke? Yeah, sure... And what are the Clintons worth today?
Here's what Michelle can have no hope about. She'll have to give up her free rides on Air Force One.

Electors being intimidated?
If you are an Electoral College elector and are being threatened or intimidated to change your vote from Trump to Clinton, I will protect your family and you. Get in touch with me now.
And I know others who will do so.
If you receive a threatening phone call, immediately hang up. Don't listen to any of it. Report it to your local police department and to the FBI. Retain any voicemail messages for the police and the FBI.
If you receive threatening mail, report it to your local police department. to the U.S. Postal Service, and to the FBI.
If you receive threatening email, report it to your police department and to the FBI.
If anyone approaches you and speaks so as to threaten you, get the police involved immediately. Do not wait!
And get loud about it.
I am sick and tired of the crybabies who won't accept that they lost. Clinton lost. The crybabies, the mobs, the losers are not going to control this country.

Michael Moore - domestic terrorist?
Is Michael Moore a domestic terrorist?
Now he is marshaling people to disrupt the inauguration ceremony of Donald Trump on January 20, 2017.
Is he really suggesting to "disrupt"? That is, to create an event of violence at the ceremony?
If he is suggesting anything other than a peaceful, orderly assembly of people (a Constitutional right), then Moore should be arrested.
Frankly, just looking at him, I think he should be arrested.
On his website he pitches that "It must be made clear to the whole world that the vast majority of people in the United States do not support his presidency or consent to his rule." What "vast majority" is he talking about?
So Moore is every bit as much as liar as Hillary ("I was under attack on the tarmac") Clinton.
Lock him up.

Pearl Harbor Day, 2016
When you look at the U.S. Flag today, honor and remember those who lost their lives 75 years ago,
And learn why Japan did not invade the U.S. Mainland after striking at Pearl Harbor.
Japan could have sent its troop ships and carriers directly to California. Apparently, the prediction of the U.S. military's chief of staff was that we would not have been able to stop a massive invasion before it reached the Mississippi River.
We had a 2,000,000-man army and war ships ... fighting the Germans. Why didn't Japan attack?
After the war, Japanese generals and admirals were asked that question. Their answer ... they knew that almost every home in America had guns and the Americans knew how to use them!
We must keep this in mind. This is one important reason that we are free.

Must-see Movie
Harry and Snowman, a documentary about a plow horse that was headed for the glue factory. Dutch immigrant Harry DeLeyer bought the horse for $80. The horse became a national champion jumper, beating very expensive and highly-trained jumpers.
This film opened in numerous theaters around the country on 1-2 day showings. Check out the movie's website for a listing of places and dates.
I missed the local showing and spotted a theater two hours away. Then I decided to get the movie on Google Play, and the choice was rent or buy. So I bought for $12.99 and watched it immediately online. Plus now I own it and I can watch it as many times as I wish.
I had read The Eighty-Dollar Champion about two years ago. What a story!
If you are looking for the perfect Christmas gift for a horse-lover among your friends and family (or yourself), grab this movie.

Do five make a crowd?
Did you see this sign in the news last week? It advertises a gun store in Avondale, Pa.
From the news you'd have thought that thousands of protesters were complaining about it. A school crossing guard was interviewed, and a child's mother expresses anti-crime sentiments.
Do you know how many people complained?
Five. That's f-i-v-e. Only five...
How do I know this? I wrote to the gun store owner in support of the sign. He replied that five people, all members of one anti-gun group, were the complainers.
And we wonder whether the media is fair?
This is what we are fighting, folks...

Exorbitant fees, costs continue in McHenry County Court
I received the following email from a driver who was unlucky enough to encounter the exorbitant court costs and fees in McHenry County Court.
"I wanted to write to you because I came across your post about the outrageous costs, fees, and fines that McHenry County charges people for having the temerity to show at court and dare ask for court supervision. I got a $53.00 ticket for [charge redacted to protect identity of writer]. I went to court to ask for court supervision, and I was slapped with a $315.00 bill. I thought I'd be able to make payments, but I fell behind because I had a hefty car repair that I had to cover. As things stand, I think the bill has gone to collections, which means it will also be a mark on my credit rating as well. I am outraged that the state and the county are gouging people like this. I don't make much money, and I know others are just struggling to get by as well. I agree that I was guilty of talking on my cell phone while driving, but just 6 years ago I was involved in a car accident and my fines and court costs from the fender bender were about half of this! I would like to get people together and see if we could all fight this together as citizens. Any thoughts on how to go about organizing a group to address the state ripping off the citizens?"
What drivers don't know is that, as soon as they don't pay the ticket before court and then set foot in the courtroom, the "costs and fees" take over.
Traffic court judges may still explain that they only set the fine and that the court costs and fees are set by the McHenry County Board and the Great State of Illinois. I have heard judges forewarn those in court not to get mad at the women working at the ticket payment counter on the first floor. However, even at the beginning of court, those who are there do not suspect just how heavy the hammer is going to be. The judge might fine a driver only $25.00, but he knows that driver will get socked with $250 of "court costs and fees" on top of the fine.
There must be a fairer system. If a person intends to plead guilty, they probably don't have to go to court. And they should not! Pay it ahead of time.
Many drivers think they can just walk into the courtroom, plead guilty, and walk out to pay only the fine. SURPRISE. You are about the get screwed over by your government!
You already know what the happy gang of McCounty County Board members will say when you call. But call, anyway. And remember ... these is more power in numbers. If a huge organization sprang up and threatened Board members with retirement at the next election, think they might listen a little harder?
If you are interested in fighting for a change in the system, send me your name, email address and phone number. I'll forward it to the person whose comment is quoted above.

TWI on top of Woodstock PD story
The Woodstock Independent (TWI) is on top of the story of the week about the dismissal of a significant drug arrest in Woodstock. Check out this week's stories (that's plural) at www.thewoodstockindependent.com
Woodstock is on the short end of the stick in a Federal law suit over this arrest, and a 18-year Woodstock cop has resigned.
One must ask why the Northwest Herald is asleep at the switch.
Seventeen pounds of marijuana was found in the trunk of Philip Williams' car.

Electoral College - understand it?
Watch this short, informative video from Prager University that explains how the Electoral College works and why it is important.
It's only five minutes long, but it is a clear explanation. The Founders knew that the POTUS and the VPOTUS should not be elected direct popular vote.

Woodstock PD - Williams' case
Thanks to a tip from a reader, I looked at this case today.
How did Woodstock PD or the McHenry County State's Attorney's office botch the case again Philip M. Williams, 30, after he was arrested at the end of August and found with 17 pounds of marijuana?
Oh, does Illinois have a new law allowing recreational use of marijuana? Seventeen pounds ought to provide for a lot of fun; right?
Williams was arrested in Woodstock.
On October 20 charges were nolle prossed in McHenry County Court. Now he, through his lawyer at Donahue & Walsh, is asking for the charges to be expunged. You know what that means; right? Erased from his record. Gone. Ancient history. Not even "history". Gone. Removed from the court records.
Exactly what happened between the time of arrest and October 20. What could his attorney have claimed?
There was a motion to dump Judge Prather from the case. Gee, imagine that.
And then Judge Feeterer threw the case out. WHY?
You'd hope the Northwest Herald would do some digging. Maybe today's article explains it, but I've hit my limit of free pages and cannot read the full article. Would someone like to summarize it? What pitch was made to Judge Feeterer on October 20?
Williams wants his car and the pot back and his record wiped clean. Should that really happen?
Presumably, his vehicle was impounded by the Woodstock Police and was subject to a $500 retrieval fee. Was that paid? The only way he can get the $500 back is, thanks for wording in the Woodstock ordinance, is for him to be found Not Guilty. So there would have to be a trial. There wasn't. He wasn't found Nor Guilty. Will Woodstock hang onto the $500?
On January 4, 2017, the expungement hearing will be back in Judge Prather's court. Will her nose be out-of-joint over being replaced in the case?
If you want a copy of the court activity, better make it now. Go to www.mchenrycircuitclerk.org and search for the defendant's name. If the record is expunged, it'll be gone from the records, all of the records.

She gets it right.
From CNN.com:
And the reaction from the right is outrage.
Julie Ponzi, senior editor of the conservative Web site American Greatness, wrote this week:
"For these outbursts you can thank 50 years of piss-poor education in American civics, the devolution of our constitutional order in the face of a Progressive onslaught against its institutions, the hyperventilating, lying, unscrupulous press (and their willing accomplices in the NeverTrump right), and a handful of other factors I am probably forgetting right now but all contributing to this result: When significant numbers of people hysterically believe the country just elected Hitler, what do you expect?"
Maybe it's time for Trump supporters to gather in tens of thousands and take to the streets. Well, maybe not, because then there would be real violence - from the Left.

Hillary points finger at Comey
The media are reporting that Killary is blaming FBI Director Comey for her loss.
This proves, conclusively for me, that the single reason for Hillary's loss is Hillary herself. Or maybe, if she wants to blame someone, blame Huma Abedin.
Hillary's worthlessness is shown by her need to blame anyone, instead of just sucking it up and saying, "I lost." She lost. That's it. Game over.
Today an acquaintance tried to tell me that Hillary "should have" won because she got more votes. Yes, it looks like she got 0.3% more votes than Trump, out of about 120,000,000 votes. Well, our system doesn't work that way, even if you always thought it did or you think it should.
Then she said her vote doesn't count under our system. Of course, it counts. It counts on the State level. Plus, it's only the office of POTUS that is governed by the Electoral College.
"Well, I believe ..."
"Believing" the system works one way, when it actually doesn't, is a popular ploy for the liberals; at leat, among most that I know.
Now, what's going on with the riots tonight?

Post-election riots
Where is the so-called fearless leader, the POTUS? Is he rubbing his hands in glee at the actions of the violent protesters? Is he on the phone with Hillary and happily chatting, "I told you this was going to happen"?
How many multi-millions of dollars of public monies did Michelle and Barack waste, racing around the country rallying the vote for Hillary?
Why isn't Obama on the liberal media requesting - no, demanding - that the protesters dial it back and remain civil and law-abiding in their protests? Why isn't he immediately threatening to send in the troops to assist local law enforcement in quelling the riots?
Because he is, at heart, a community organizer, not a leader.
Is he licking his wounds over having to eat crow over Hillary's losing the election?
Is he honestly committed to a smooth transition to the Trump presidency?
Seattle's mayor Ed Murray has already stated his commitment to the sanctuary claim of "his" city. Well, I wonder how he will like seeing Federal funds cut off? And how will he deal with his residents when they rise up against the City after they see their own taxes skyrocketing to replace lost Federal funds? Murray is a jerk.
If law-enforcement can't contain the post-election riots, will citizen militias spring up to protect life, health and property?
Why do I think that, had Clinton won, we Trump supporters would not be engaging in violent protest?

Stupidity of some election laws
What's with all the stupid election laws?
You can't express your First Amendment rights and wear a shirt to the polling place, if the words "Basket of Deplorables" on it?
And you can't photograph your own ballot?
I'm generally a peaceful person, but somebody ought to line up the idiots who are making these laws and give them 50 lashes.
I'd donate to a GoFundMe account for Brett Mauthe of Bulverde, Texas. The wimp who is the Comal County election's coordinator may be the one who accused Mauthe of electioneering by wearing his shirt. Bulverde PD Chief Gary Haecker chickened out when asked for arrest details, deferring to the election's czar. Chief Haecker was absolutely wrong to flinch like that. He, as the PD chief, is the one with the arrest information!!!
The P.D. would have arrested Mauthe on someone's complaint (the election's czar?), and that person will have to appear in court and testify against Mauthe. A good defense attorney will beat that prosecution witness to a pulp with the First Amendment, but voting day will have passed.
Mauthe was willing to remove his Trump cap but not his shirt.

Today is the Day
Today is Election Day. This may be the most important election day of our lifetimes.
I bought this button in Richmond, Va., in about 1995 and, unfortunately, misplaced it sometime after wearing it here in Columbia, S.C. about two years ago. I must say that it didn't get the same laugh (or respect) in South Carolina that it had gotten in Illinois.
I voted Absentee this year because I expected to be out-of-state today. I returned early and called the Election Office to ask if I should (or could) return my absentee ballot and vote in person.
Let's just hope I got the right advice over the phone, when a clerk told me that I "had" to vote absentee, since I had ordered a ballot. So I mailed my ballot at the downtown Post Office and crossed my fingers.
No matter which presidential candidate wins today, the caterwauling will start tonight.
I fear greatly for this country. I fear that the rabble and the sheep will blindly follow others off the cliff and vote foe Clinton. She will be a disaster as POTUS. The truth will come out about her emails, the Clinton Foundation donors, the Lolita Express, her Supreme Court nominations, her Muslim buddy Huma, and her health, Too many will vote for her, so that the U.S. will have its first female president. That is NO reason to vote for Hillary Clinton.
Call me a sexist, if you want to. But I would vote for a woman, if she were the best candidate. Just not that woman.
I don't like the way Trump talks about many things, but I like what he says he is for. Secure borders. Strong military. Bring jobs back to the USA. The Second Amendment. He did not build his business successes by being a pushover.
If you haven't voted yet, vote for Donald Trump.

Reading Ann Coulter's book, Treason: Liberal Treachery ...
Yesterday I came across Ann Coulter's book, Treason: Liberal Treachery from the Cold War to the War on Terror. After starting it, I looked at the publication date and found it was 2003. I had checked it out as a e-book from my library and almost put it aside.
The I came to names like Alger Hiss, Whitaker Chambers, Dean Acheson, William Remington, J. Edgar Hoover, Joe McCarthy (1908-1957). And that "In 1995, it (the Hiss case) was no longer uncertain. That was the year the Venona Project was unveiled, revealing Soviet cables that established that Hiss was a Soviet agent ..."
Coulter blasts the Democrats for protecting accused spies. She further wrote, "It is a fact that hundreds of agents of this blood-soaked ideology (Communism) became top advisors to Democratic presidents, worked on the Manhattan Project, infiltrated every segment of the United States government."
Is this what is happening today? Replace Communism with Muslim. How many top positions have been filled by Obama with people with Muslim leanings?
Do we need a "Joe McCarthy" today? Is there any chance that there might already be one in the current Congress?

Whom will Obama pardon?
Whom will Obama pardon on his way out the door on January 19th?
1. Rod Blagojevich. (when I was in Denver last month, I intended to go by the Englewood Federal Correctional Facility and take a selfie with it in the background.)
2. Hillary, Bill and Chelsea for all crimes, known and unknown, whether indicted, charged, found guilty - ever.
3. Harry Reid. Can a POTUS pardon someone for just being stupid?
4. Anthony Weiner
5. Loretta Lynch
6. Eric Holder
7. Lois Lerner, that idiot who was in charge of the IRS' charitable division (not that there is anything charitable about the IRS...)
Who else will be on Obama's list?

One really stupid woman!
This student was an organizer of the "Million Student March".
Watch and listen to this interview with Neil Cavuto. He interviews Keely Mullen. She is really stupid. Ignorant. She has no clue what LIFE is really all about.
Keely Mullen has learned her bullet points well, but they don't make any sense.
And it's Keely and her gang who will try to elect the next POTUS.

Dark Art of Political Intimidation
You're free to say what you want. Right?
You have your First Amendment rights, don't you?
Watch this important video, and you might have second thoughts. Think about some of the police officers who are expressing their personal opinions of groups like Black Lives Matter. Think about some of the bloggers you know and the nameless cowards who are so often flaming them (without accepting responsibility for their words).
Even think about Donald Trump's "locker room" talk.
Watch this short talk by Kimberley Strassel, political affairs columnist for the Wall Street Journal. You might even want to read her book, The Intimidation Game - How the Left Is Silencing Free Speech.
Cubs win Series, but ...
Congratulations to the Chicago Cubs.
But now the question must be, Why would the celebration parade be held on a Friday or Monday (or on other regular work day)?
Why not have it on Saturday or Sunday and avoid disrupting commerce?
The Cubs are a business, a sports team. Why should business and the rest of the public suffer a huge inconvenience and economic loss, while a business enterprise celebrates a sports win?
Dumb...

Comey letter to lawmakers
Has anyone heard who leaked FBI Director Comey's letter to the press?
Presumably, Comey wrote to Congressional leaders of two committees. I seriously doubt that he sent a copy to the press. So who leaked it?
Did a member of one of the two Congressional committees leak it? Did someone in the FBI office leak it? Did Loretta Lynch or one of her gang leak it?
Who is no one asking this question?
Isn't it hilarious to watch Hillary's camp swerve and deflect the issue? Reminds me of the McHenry County Sheriff's Department. Remember when someone said, "We are here to protect and serve, not to deflect and swerve."
Hillary's supporters will vote for her, no matter what. Many of them do not care about honesty, truthfulness, the Constitution, this country. It's "gimme, gimme, gimme." Hillary promises them the world, and they aren't wondering who will sign the checks.
I watched MOMS Demand Action last Thursday night at a South Carolina Senate special hearing on gun issues. They are stupid; just plain stupid.
Hillary knows full well that Comey will not release details of an ongoing investigation. So it's easy for her to cry out - now - for full release. Wait until the pressure of Nov. 8 is gone. Then she'll be trying to get Comey's neck in a noose.
And that idiot who was screaming Hatch Act violation? What a jerk!

Three cheers for Comey
Let's hope FBI Director James Comey has a very strong security detail. I'd sure hate for him to come down with the Vince Foster Disease.
Comey was right to speak up. Obviously, U.S. Attorney General Loretta Lynch wouldn't. She'd be worried about job security and what was really said between Bill Clinton and her on the plane. Obama certainly wouldn't let anything slip that might hurt Hillary.
The voting public deserves to know that another rat is starting to smell in Hillary's corner.
Unfortunately, it's probably too little, too late. Many have already voted and can't recall their votes for Hillary, not that they would. No matter how dirty Hillary is, too many will still vote for her.
I'm not waiting for Nov. 9 to order my AR-15 and half a dozen 30-round magazines. If Hillary wins the election, I'm very likely to need them for defense of home and life.
I fired an AR-15 yesterday on fully-automatic. Too bad I can't buy one of those.

Trump missed opportunities in debate #3
You have to wonder why Donald Trump can't hire a campaign manager who can produce a win. He missed many opportunities to hammer Hillary last night with direct statements that would have chipped away at any lead she thinks she has. Hillary was running out of energy; you could see it in her face and hear it in her words.
Trump is right not to state that he will accept the vote. The correct action for any candidate is to defer the answer until after you know what the vote is.
It's hard to believe that Trump cannot deliver clear, concise answers and fact-driven statements that would show the world what a weasel Hillary is.
The FBI's investigation of Hillary's email server was rigged. Loretta Lynch's decision was rigged. What did Bill Clinton and Lynch really discuss on that plane. There was plenty of evidence to go forward on charges. Whoever heard of an Attorney General deferring a decision to the FBI? The FBI should have taken its evidence to Lynch, and then Lynch should have put her head on the chopping block. Except we know how that would go. The Obama Team would have crushed her.
Trump should have provided a quick statement why he used Gen. Patton's name. Those of us old enough to know who George Patton was, will know or guess. The younger crowd will say, "Who?"
Of course, the real race, under our system, is the Electoral College vote, not the popular vote. Let's hope that the Trump Team understands that.
Trump should have attacked Hillary's smirking and confidence, and he should have attacked her health and asked direct questions about any diagnosis or suspected stroke or Parkinson's Disease. The look of shock on the female reporter's face, when Hillary's head-bobbing during the loud questioning, is now lost in "old news".
Look at how few blue states might control the Electoral College. It feels too much like Cook County's stranglehold on Springfield.
As a former insurance agent, I knew that Obamacare could not success. You can't insure everybody for everything for less money. Obamacare care insurance companies have already gone out of business, and premiums are going up 50% and more. I know poor folks with $10,000 deductibles. What kind of insurance is that?
I said I'd leave the USA, if Hillary wins on Nov. 8. Then I decided that a better choice is buying more guns and ammo and preparing to defend this country from domestic terrorists and government, if necessary. Read the Declaration of Independence, the U.S. Constitution and the Bill of Rights, folks.

Stop the BLM nonsense
I live 100 miles south of Charlotte, N.C.
I am so sick and tired of this BLM nonsense that I am ready to scream and curse. I have news for all the BLM idiots. Your lives will matter when you stop doing stupid things,
Don't get out of your car holding a gun.
Don't dive into the cab of your truck for your driver's license and come out with your back to the cop.
Keep your empty hands in sight.
Don't mouth off to cops.
Don't throw bottles and rocks at cops, motorists or bystanders.
Don't stomp on police cars.
Don't burn, loot, steal.
Don't live-stream false statements on social media.
Don't believe all the garbage that is being live-streamed.
Don't shut down interstate highways, throw rocks from overpasses, loot from trucks stopped on the interstate.
I wonder what training police have to recognize when citizens are coming to their aid.
Let's say that a bunch of BLM thugs are rioting, burning, looting, and law-abiding citizens (white, black, brown, you name it) show up - armed - to help the police.
For example,
to stop looting of stores;
to prevent the setting of fires;
to stop violent protesters from throwing rocks and stones from overpasses onto cars on highways or roadways;
to prevent destruction of City property, such as police cars;
to protect police and other first responders;
to protect innocent bystanders or observers.
If I/we show up to help, how do we avoid getting shot by police?

WANTED: reliable used car
Friends in Woodstock are looking for a used car in good condition. Age doesn't matter, but mechanical condition does.
Your good used car will find a happy, considerate home, and it will not be driven at the stock car races on Sundays or at any demolition derby at the McHenry County Fair.
They are not looking for a "clunker" or anything that will need repairs every month.
Maybe a car sitting in a garage, just because the family didn't want to let it go in an Estate sale?
If you have one or know of one, please contact me and I'll pass along the information. Thanks.

Why I detest the Obamas
Obamas have taken full advantage of all entitlements of office, while many in this country are standing in welfare lines. Take a look. Tell me it's not so. And within just the past few days I read what Obama's taxpayer-fueled vacations have cost in 2016. Disgusting.
That’s a Total...$2,075,200 in annual salaries - all for someone we did not vote for and apparently have no control over 5 staff are Muslim and 13 African-American.

Grab your wallets!!! Obamacare premiums, going up!
Obamacare premiums are somewhat like elevators. They go up. But they don't go down.
How could Congress be so stupid and fall for the Affordable Care Act, popularly known as Obamacare. Obama and Pelosi really did a number on the American people. Remember when Pelosi said that Congress would have to sign the bill in order to find out what was in it?
Well, what do you expect from someone from California???
What did the New York Times have to say on August 12, 2016? See this article about the cost of expanding Obamacare for the Medicaid population. Said the NYT, "In a recent report to Congress, the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services said the cost of expansion was $6,366 per person for 2015, about 49 percent higher than previously estimated." (emphasis added)
Socialism at its best, eh, for all your Bernie fans. I read a definition recently that Socialism is Communism without the guns.
How come I, as a former insurance agent, knew that Obamacare wasn't going to work? Why couldn't Congress figure it out? You just can't insure people who are sick and old and uninsured for the same premium cost as you insure healthy, younger people who can otherwise qualify for insured at standard or lower rates.
A fifth-grader could have told members of Congress that it wasn't going to work out financially.

Gun laws too lax?
Milwaukee's Mayor Tom Barrett is an idiot. "The gun laws are too lax in this state right now." That's the reason for the riots in Milwaukee that left five dead?
"No, Tom! It's the criminals who have guns because existing laws are not enforced."
But Uncle Tom will want to take guns away from law-abiding citizens as a solution. Illinois residents along the Illinois-Wisconsin "border" should join www.WisconsinCarry.org, an organization that actually does something to improve matters for responsible gun-owners.
And call or otherwise contact Barrett to tell him how wrong he is.
Look at the photos of the senseless burning and rioting. You can bet that Jesse Jackson will show up, and that Louis Farrakhan will, too. Will they calm things or make things worse?
Wisconsin is a state with open carry and concealed carry. Looks like law-abiding residents are going to need all the protection they can muster.

Drink up. It's Prim Time
Did you see Bill Prim's first ad for his re-election campaign?
Really great. Right? Is he trying to drum up a little business for the county's DUI officers?
Who do you suppose is advising him? The left-over deputies from the Nygren regime? As I recall, a number of them had a lot of experience with steins and schooners, especially at the old Red Mill in Woodstock and at that tavern out on Washington Street near Highway 14.
Is there a better theme for a fundraiser than drinking yourself under the table, trying to get your money's worth?
Prim's invitation suggests it's a celebration of his mid-term successes. Just what "successes" has he had since becoming Sheriff? Any? It seems to me that he has kept a very low profile and avoids the news. I always thought he ought to re-open the Feldkamp/Bloom case and conduct a through investigation of the crime. It certainly wasn't done the first time around.
Wouldn't it be nice if McHenry County had a sheriff like Sheriff David E. Clarke, Jr. of Milwaukee County, Wisc. or Sheriff Joe Arpaio of Maricopa County, Arizona or any one of other Arizona sheriffs or sheriffs in the South who are willing to stand up and speak out about preservation of Second Amendment rights and protection of the USA?
Do you know how many illegal aliens there are in McHenry County? 10,-12,000 maybe? What is Prim doing about taking them into custody and getting them out of McHenry County?
What's the deal at the County Jail? What's the bed count now from rentals and ICE usage? Has he been successful in keeping the beds rented out for the income to meet the financing deal? Has he unloaded the top-heavy supervisor load and put more deputies out on the road? Has he eliminated the "special" units (small group of "elite" deputies with a supervisor)? Has he increased security in the courtrooms and hired able-bodied courtroom security officers, not left-over, over-weight, tired retirees (friends) from area departments?
Why is my attitude toward Prim what it is? It stems from a meet-and-greet for him when he was running in 2012, and he was rude to me because of his understanding of my views about militarization of the Sheriff's Department. He didn't ask me what my views were or why. His only comment to me was, "Oh, you're the guy who doesn't like militarization."
Is somebody going to run against Prim in the Republican Primary in February 2018? I hope so.

Muslim Brotherhood in the U.S. Government
Here's a video that is absolutely riveting and worth 30 minutes of your time. Philip Haney, a former analyst at the U.S. Department of Homeland Security, is co-author of See Something Say Nothing: A Homeland Security Officer Exposes the Government's Submission to Jihad.
At the National Press Club shortly after the Orlando shootings Haney explains the network of Islamic influence and terrorists that is allowed to exist right here in the United States. Are you concerned about the "deep penetration of the U.S. Government by Muslim Brotherhood operatives"?
Haney accuses officials in our Government of this: performance that is "well below minimally adequate in terms of level of responsibility" and "abrogation of duty of elected officials".
Haney explains, "The real nature of the Islamic threat: 'It's not jihad. Sharia! Jihad is a tactic, and Sharia law is the strategy, and we are fighting tactics when we don't understand the strategy, and we are doomed to fail every time.' "
Regarding the upcoming election (November 2016), ask yourself: "Who is more likely to stand up for the values of the U.S. Constitution. That's the basis you should use in evaluating ... candidates."
Watch the beginning of the meeting, where panel members are identified. The full Press Club meeting can be viewed here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=bBxvSB0jdw0 Haney is the first speaker.

This attorney is sickening
The Chicago Tribune is showing now the dashcam and bodycam recordings of CPD cops involved in the attempted capture of car thief Paul O'Neal, age 18 on July 28. O'Neal was shot while eluding Chicago cops in a stolen Jaguar on Chicago's southside.
Says O'Neal family attorney Michael Oppenheimer, "Paul's O'Neal's Constitutional rights were violated in the most egregious way. Officers played judge, jury and executioner to decide their own sense of justice."
What kind of puke is Attorney Oppenheimer? He's just putting on a good show for the family. You can expect Rahm Emanuel and Chicago to cave in and fork over $4,-5,000,000. And Oppenheimer will walk away with 40%. Pretty good payday for a big mouth on TV.
The attorney and the family watched "the execution of their loving son..." I guess he wouldn't be the family's attorney very long if he told them, "Your son was a criminal. That's what happens when you do stupid stuff."
And the idiot female reporter for CBS-TV in Chicago stressed in her report that O'Neal was "unarmed". She went on to say that all three officers involved "were stripped of their powers..." What kind of stupid is that reporter? CBS-TV should immediately fire Audrina Bigos!!!
And be sure to read the dumb statement by the CPD Independent Police Review Authority. The jerk in charge of that ought to be fired!
Let's see, O'Neal was a car thief. He tried to run down cops. He was driving a stolen car. He fled on foot. Yeah, that family lost a "loving son." Sure they did...
Rahm Emanuel will never halt crime by punks in Chicago with that kind of leadership.
How about trying this on for size? "You don't commit crimes. You don't get shot."

Read this vet's letter
This letter from U.S. Marine and Navy veteran Chris Mark deserves a tip of the hat. He takes off on Khizr Khan, father of deceased Capt. Humayun Khan The father took off on Donald Trump from the stage of the DNC.
Chris Mark is sensitive to the family's loss of their son, a man who, in my book, does deserve the Hero status.
Trump does run off at the mouth too often for my taste, but the bad taste left in my mouth at just the thought of Hillary Clinton and Bill anywhere near the White House is far, far worse.
And I won't waste my time reading whatever it was that John McCain had to say.

WTH? - "USNS Harvey Milk"
What the hell is going on in Washington, D.C.? Well, we do know, don't we?
This headline in the Chicago Tribune and, I'm sure, in many other places...
Just imagine all the emails that will be heading home. "Hey, Mom, I just got assigned to a new Navy ship named after a queer."
Who do you suppose is responsible for naming multi-million expenditures of taxpayer dollars?
How did Harvey Milk's name get to the top of the list of names for new ships?
Secretary of the Navy Ray Mabus, appointed by Obama in 2009, may be on the way out. Did he tell Congress in March that he'll leave his post in 2017. Couldn't he find any Navy heroes to name that ship after? Did he get ordered to name that ship after Milk?

Be ready - before the next attack
A friend in Colorado sent the following to me by email. If anyone knows the source, I'll be happy to attribute it.
Who is Juval Aviv? A 69-year-old expert. Read this:
Who is Juval Aviv? A 69-year-old expert. Read this:
Who is Juval Aviv? You may have read about Juval Aviv. He was Golda Meir's bodyguard and the Israeli Agent upon whom the movie ' Munich ' was based. Golda Meir appointed him to trackdown and bring to justice the Palestinian terrorists who took the Israeli athletes hostage and killed them during the Munich Olympic Games.
In various venues, Aviv has shared information that EVERY American needs to know, but that our government has not yet shared with us.
----------
A little background: Congress has hired Aviv as a security consultant. Aviv predicts that there will be more terrorist attacks on the U.S. He says terrorists will NEVER try hijacking a plane again as they know the people on board will never go down quietly again. Aviv says that our airport security is a joke 'that we have been reactionary' rather than proactive in developing strategies that are truly effective.
Example 1: Because an idiot tried to light his shoe on fire, now everyone has to take off their shoes.
Example 2: A group of idiots tried to bring aboard liquid explosives, and now we can't bring liquids on board.
Example 3: Our airport security looks for metal, but the new explosives are made of plastic.
Currently, our airports only focuses on security when people are heading to the gates. Aviv says that if a terrorist attack targets airports in the future, they will target busy times on the front end of the airport when/where people are checking in. For example, it would be easy for someone to take two suitcases of explosives, walk up to a busy check-in line, ask a person next to them to watch their bags for a minute while they run to the restroom, and then detonate the bags BEFORE security even gets involved. In Israel, security checks bags BEFORE people can even ENTER the airport.
Aviv says the next terrorist attack here in America is imminent and will involve suicide bombers and non-suicide bombers in places where large groups of people congregate, such as Disneyland, Las Vegas casinos, shopping malls, subways in rush hour, train stations, etc., as well as in rural America this time (Wyoming, Montana, etc.) in order to create mass panic. The attack will be characterized by simultaneous detonations around the country involving at least 5-8 cities, including rural areas.
Aviv says terrorists won't need to use suicide bombers in many of the larger cities, because at places like the MGM Grand in Las Vegas, they can simply valet park a car loaded with explosives and walk away.
Aviv says all of the above is well known in intelligence circles, but that our U.S. government does not want to 'alarm American citizens' with the facts. The world, however, is soon going to become 'a different place', Aviv says, where issues like 'global warming' and political correctness will have become totally irrelevant.
On an encouraging note, Aviv says that Americans don't have to be concerned about being nuked. He says the terrorists who want to destroy America will not use sophisticated weapons. Instead, they like to use suicide, as it's cheap, it's easy, and it's effective and they have an infinite abundance of young, ignorant, fanatic militants more than willing to 'go see Allah'.
Aviv also says the next level of terrorists over which America should be most concerned will not be coming from abroad. They will instead be 'home grown' meaning they will have attended and been educated in our own schools and universities right here in the U.S. These young terrorists will be most dangerous because they will know our language and will fully understand the habits of Americans; but that we Americans won't know or understand a thing about them.
So, what can America do to protect itself? From an intelligence perspective, Aviv says the U.S. needs to stop relying on satellites and technology for its intelligence. Instead, we need to follow Israel 's, Ireland 's and England 's hands-on examples of human intelligence, both from an infiltration perspective as well as to trust 'aware' citizens to help. We need to engage and educate ourselves as citizens; however, our U.S. Government continues to treat us, its citizens, 'like babies'. Our government thinks we can't handle the truth' and are concerned that we'll panic if we understand the realities of terrorism. Aviv says this is a deadly mistake.
Aviv created/executed a security test for Congress by placing an empty briefcase in five well-traveled spots in five major cities. The results? Not one person called 911 or sought a policeman to check it out.
In comparison, Aviv says that citizens of Israel are so well 'trained' that an unattended bag or package would be reported in seconds by citizen(s) who know to publicly shout, 'Unattended Bag!' The area would be quickly & calmly cleared by the citizens themselves. But, unfortunately, America hasn't been 'hurt enough' yet by terrorism for their government to fully understand the need to educate its citizens or for the government to understand that it's the citizens who are, inevitably, the best first-line of defense against terrorism.
Aviv also was concerned about the high number of children who were in preschool and kindergarten after 9/11, children who were basically 'lost' without parents being able to pick them up, and schools that had no plan in place to best care for the students until their parents could get there. He stresses the importance of having a plan that's agreed upon within your family, to respond to in the event of a terrorist emergency. He urges parents to contact their children's schools and demand that the schools, too, develop plans of actions, as they do in Israel. He says we should all have a plan that is easy enough for even our youngest children to remember and follow.
Does your family know what to do if you can't contact one another by phone? Where would you gather in an emergency?
Aviv says that the U.S. government has in force a plan that, in the event of another terrorist attack, will immediately cut-off everyone’s ability to use cell phones, as this is the preferred communication source used by terrorists and is often the way that their bombs are detonated. How will you communicate with your loved ones in the event you cannot use phones or the Internet?
Bottom line, you need to have a plan! In the event that a major terrorist incident happens again, and you fail to have a plan, this particular email will haunt you.

Jon Stewart - so wrong
I read about Jon Stewart's rant on the Stephen Colbert Show, where he said that Trump backers don't own the USA.
I remember Jon from ABC's The View in 1999. I was there for what turned out to be my five minutes of TV fame, and he and sat in the Green Room before the show began.
ABC staffers were fawning over him. I had no clue who he was and didn't care. He didn't even seem to notice me and didn't care. I didn't care that he didn't. I'm glad he didn't say "Hi, I'm Jon Stewart", because then I didn't have to fake acting like I knew who he was.
He got the bulk of the show time, and I got my five minutes at the end. That wait was worth it. Before the Executive Producer called me, after Jon Hilkevitch had written about my traffic crusade in a Monday column in the Chicago Tribune, I had never heard of The View. When the EP asked me to promise I wouldn't be on any other national TV show before the next week's show, I promised. Then I had to hurry and find out what "The View" was.
It's about time to look at the old VCR tape of that show again. And to get it copied onto a DVD.
But back to Jon. We Trump backers know that America doesn't "belong" only to us. It belongs to all of us.
Jon, you were wrong when you said, "There is no real America." And, Jon, there is America. Why don't you just leave? In fact, when those other Democrats say they are leaving the U.S. after Trump wins, go with them. Of course, they are lying, but it gets them lines in the press now.

To protect and serve
When I saw this photo from the Facebook page for Support Police Officers, I added my comment, "How long have they been married?"
But wait... maybe she's proposing...
WTH did this trip cost us?
Scripps-Howard News Service reported on Obama's entourage to London for the G-20 summit.
What do you think it cost us for him to be there? And what the hell does he know about economics that the .U.S. could not have been represented at much lower cost by somebody who actually knew what was being discussed?
What did Obama take with him?
A staff of 500 (that's FIVE HUNDRED!!!), including
200 Secret Service agents
6 doctors
White House chef and kitchen staff
4 speechwriters
and
35 (THIRTY-FIVE!!!) vehicles, including numerous "decoy" vehicles
Marine One helicopter
12 teleprompters
Not mentioned was the number of aircraft required to ferry Obama and Gang (and equipment) there and back.
How many hundreds of millions of dollars did it cost us for Obama to attend that 3-day meeting? I, for one, wonder just how many hours he actually spent in productive meetings.
Absurd! Totally absurd!!!
