Compliment due at courthouse

When you find something out of order at, say, the courthouse in Woodstock, what do you do?

Ignore it? Grumble? Complain to others?

Do you ever send a request for repair or correction?

I wish to express my appreciation to the staff for keeping the courthouse as clean as they do.

What have I reported?

Lack of coat-hanging hooks in single-person restrooms? (I didn't like putting my winter coat on the floor.)

Lack of notice on courtroom door, when a trial is scheduled and all other cases have been moved to other courtrooms. Incorrect information on hallway monitors.

Graffiti carved in the wooden wall in front of courtroom seating.

Trash on the ground outside court entrance; lack of a nearby trash container.

The extremely prompt attention to last week's request was very much appreciated.

Last week a number of water bottles and used coffee cups littered the sidewalk at the west entrance one afternoon, which must have resulted from arriving visitors being told that they could not take them into the building. A waste receptacle was moved to the courthouse-side of the driveway. Hopefully, people will use it.

How about they fix the water fountains on the first and second floors? Even a handicapped person can't getta sip, forcing you to spend money at the vending machines.
My suggestion--- forget the water... have the fountains spew out some nice Malt Liquor! DOH!
