Inauguration Cost - $170,000,000

I'd like to use the words of the DEA agent to Sgt. Koziol in expressing my outrage at the cost of Obama's second inauguration, but I'll refrain. But you know the words; right?

His swearing-in should have been public, and a "crowning" and a buffet lunch would have been sufficient to boost him into his second term.

I was thinking about this before yesterday. If I were President and won a second term, the first day of that term wouldn't be much different than the last day of the first term. No need to change the sheets; no packing; no good-bye notes to the faithful staff.

But $170,000,000? Was it all raised from donations of Democrat supporters? How much did it cost the taxpayers?
