This Sunday it will be 139 weeks that Beth Bentley has been missing.
One of her Beth's pals was arrested yesterday, January 18, on drug charges and spent the night in Hotel Nygren. As of this time she is still in custody.
Robin Moore, 38, was charged with felony possession of a controlled substance (2 counts) and misdemeanor possession of drug paraphernalia. She was confined at 6:41PM yesterday and is there on a $10,000 bail. If somebody will come up with $1,000, she will breathe fresh air again.
She is scheduled to appear in Courtroom 302 on Wednesday, January 23, at 9:00AM.
Could she know something about Beth's disappearance?
Woodstock Police had a chance to "talk" with her when they arrested her for DUI on May 14, 2011. She was convicted on November 22, 2011 and it cost her $3,362 in fine, court costs and fees. Plus, probably, a big chunk in legal fees from her Woodstock attorney, Ray Flavin.
Conditions of her sentence included, in addition to the fine and costs, DUI school and 240 hours of public service.
Notice that no jail time was part of the sentence. That's how serious McHenry County is about drunk driving.
