When Soccer Mom was introduced to the world, I noticed that she was not wearing a wedding ring. Well, lots of married women don't wear wedding rings. Certainly, there is nothing inherently wrong with not wearing a ring, but I was at least curious. I don't even think she was wearing one in her first national interview with Charles Gibson.
But the McCain camp must have gotten through to her. In this week's news photos of Soccer Mom meeting with world leaders (so they say), guess who is wearing a wedding band? Yep! Sarah.
Anyone else notice this?

And the significance of this is......?
Umm ... Can you explain what that has to do about the campaign. My wife doesn't wear her rings sometimes. I don't wear my wedding ring sometimes. That does not change anything. We're still married with two kids.
More liberal dibble.
It might have to do with pressure that is internal to the McCain organizers. Just like they are sheltering her from the press and letting the reporters at her.
Can you imagine the state of this country if McCain gets elected POTUS and has a stroke on January 25th? And Soccer Mom takes over?
McCain's pick for a VP has got to be one of the dumbest moves of a presidential candidate - ever. Palin is, I'm sure, a nice person. "Nice" is not a qualification for VP.
Can it be any dumber than electing a Junior Senator to President? Here's a guy that, for no good reason, gets a primetime speaking slot at the 2004 Democratic Convention; two and a half years later announces his candidacy for President (already a favorite), goes up against one of the most powerful politicians (Bill & Hilary), and gets the support of Sen. Ted Kennedy. Do you really think he is going to "CHANGE" anything in Washington? He's indebted to the Democratic Party establishment. He won't be able to do anything without DNC approval. It'll be the same ol' partisan "Politics as Usual".
And besides, everyone said Cheney’s heart problem was a concern. Nothing happened to him in eight years. Let’s give McCain some credit for his good health.
Obamas biggest change, if he gets more done to the country than he did to Illinois, will be to lead us further into the abyss of socialism.
Gus, what the heck makes Obama more experienced to run this country? The fact that he has only campaigned for the presidency most of his senatorial career!?
Look at the package Obama/Biden vs. McCain/Palin. Watch the debates, starting Friday night.
Good answer. Sounds much better than "I don't know."
