According to online McHenry County Circuit Court records, Steven J. Hubbard was denied a bond reduction in Judge Joseph P. Condon's court this morning. This means that his bail stands at $100,000. It will take $10,000 (10%) for his get-out-of-jail card to work.
Two court dates are set. On August 22 a status hearing on a subpoena request will be held, and on August 31 a preliminary hearing is scheduled. Both are set for 9:00AM in Room 302.
According to an article in the Daily Herald, Hubbard has been placed on unpaid administrative leave from his job as a telecommunicator at the Vernon Hills (Ill.) Police Department.
