Will you watch the presidential debate tonight?
It's at 8:00PM Central Time.
From a friend in Denver I learned last night that the debate will be on the campus of the University of Denver. I guess Denver traffic will be paralyzed. I was told that I-25 will be shut down from 5:00-10:00PM, because it passes close to D.U.
Should millions of people and commerce be interrupted for this "show"? What happened to the days when a presidential candidate just boarded a train and blew his hot air from the platform on the last car of the train?
What does it cost the taxpayers for the President to show up at a political debate (air costs, ground costs, Federal presidential security, Denver Police security, etc.) and for the Federal cost of Romney's security?
