Did you see the photo in the Northwest Herald of gas prices in California today? It showed a woman buying only $6.00 worth of gas in Calabasas, so she could get home.
The article said the price for a gallon of gas jumped 20¢ overnight to $4.53 in Ventura, Calif. It's only 39 miles from one city to the other; what would account for a difference of $1.16/gal. in 39 miles?
In 1989 I lived in Woodland Hills, less than five miles from Calabasas.
After four months, the only thing I wanted out of California was me!
