Hillary - "responsible". An empty statement

In advance of last night's presidential debate, U.S. Secretary of State Hillary Clinton put out a statement that she was responsible for the safety of embassy employees. Well, duh...  of course, she is.

But the question in last night's debate, and still unanswered, is who gave the order not to increase the security that was requested for the embassy in Benghazi, Libya. Did Hillary herself give the order? Not likely.

If the embassy staff there requested increased security, then someone in the State Department either refused to provide it or failed to respond to the request, effectively refusing it.

A member of last night's town hall audience asked the question. Obama didn't answer it. Hillary had tried to take the heat and deflect the anticipated question with her worthless statement.

If Hillary is responsible, then she ought to resign. Today. She won't. Too much power in those claws. She's probably patting the back of her "spokeswoman", Victoria Nuland, for putting on a brave face and saying that Hillary was "extremely clear...". Oh, barf!
