Family Health P'ship to move from Woodstock

I've been reading the announcements about the new headquarters for the Family Health Partnership Clinic (FHPC), which has been located in Woodstock on West Jackson St.

FHPC serves a large population of patients who are uninsured or under-insured, and no doubt it is cramped in its present location. It is going to build a new facility in Crystal Lake along the medical corridor of Congress Parkway.

What hasn't been clear to me, until today, was whether FHPC would close the Woodstock facility.

It will.

When it opens in Crystal Lake, it will be known as the Sage Center for Care.

FHPC will again sponsor the annual Care4 Breast Cancer 5K Run/Walk on October 21 at Woodstock North High School. For more information and to register, visit www.hpclinic.org
