America - energy-independent?

Is gasoline heading for $4.00/gal.? $5,00/gal.? With crude at $100/barrel, where are we going? Better dust off the bicycle and pump up the those tires!

I could have met Jon in June, 1999. I sat across the Green Room from him at ABC's The View, but he was the big dog that day. Since I'm not a TV guy (today I don't even get a TV signal in my place), I didn't even know who he was. Imagine that... And, for sure, he didn't know who I was, and he didn't care because I never got a glance.

Fortunately, my feelings don't get hurt.
