TaxWatch meeting Sunday 1:00PM

Sunday, 1:00PM, the place to be is Christ the King Church in Wonder Lake, at 5015 East Wonder Lake Road. Right after church, folks.

The McHenry County TaxWatch group will sponsor a meeting and talk by Jim Tobin. Jim is the President of the National Taxpayers United of Illinois.

Whether or not you live within the boundaries of McHenry School District 156, you'll want to come and hear what Jim Tobin has to say.

Call your friends in the McHenry area and tell them about this meeting. The Chicago Tribune has already talked to Bob Anderson, township bulldog and taxwatcher.

Why go listen to someone that speaks untruthful rhetoric. The man hates anyone that is a public employee and despises any public retirement system. The 'facts' he issues are totally wrong. He does not understand the basics of investments and how they relate to yearly annuities.

Bob Anserson DOES have some good ideas mostly in his quest to reduce the size of government especially Townships, but Tobin prays upon the publics hatred of property taxes and it turns into a big pity party.
