Next bus to IGOLD

Tomorrow is IGOLD - Illinois Gun Owners Lobby Day.

Join the McHenry County Right to Carry Assn. on its chartered bus from the Woodstock VFW at 6:00AM, Thursday (tomorrow).

Be there at 5:50AM with your $25 and ride to Springfield (and back) for the march on the Capitol. Bring lunch money (Cracker Barrel) and $5, if you want pizza on the way home; also, a tip for the driver.

HB0148 passed out of committee with a 12-2 vote. Is this the year?

If you believe that Illinois should come out of the Dark Ages and join the rest of the country in permitting the carrying of concealed weapon by law-abiding citizens, contact State Rep. Jack Franks.

If Jack or his wife or his kids were in danger, they would want a citizen with a gun handy to protect them. Ask them all to read From Luby's to the Legislature, by Suzanna Gratia Hupp. If they won't read any other part, ask them to read the last two pages and the very last two lines in the book.

Cross your fingers and just show up at 5:50AM, or call Lou Rofrano at 815.575.4510 for a reservation.

LET'S HOPE ILLINOIS DOESN'T EVER "COME TO IT'S SENSES". CONCEALED CARRY IS NONSENSE.

Since I don't know is Jack Franks for or against? How about Pam Althoff and Mike Tryon?

SW, if you live in the 63rd District and Jack is your representative, will you please contact him and express your support for HB 0148?

Pam and Mike are on board in favor of concealed carry. Thanks!

JOHN, I'm interested in why you believe concealed carry is nonsense.

I hope you'll post additional comments and enter into open discussion about it.

Looking forward to hearing more from you.
