The average annual salary is $112,144
Teachers work 180 days per year

No worries. The referendum will fail and will continue to fail each time they bring in a new referendum to the school districts in Marengo. The taxpayers are sick and tired of the mismanagement of money in a small town with 4 schools separated into 3 school districts. The three superintendents for a 4 school town are administrators who are are overpaid, overstaffed, and meanwhile the children suffer. They may try over and over but I assure you, they will get nowhere. Soon the new consolidation will forced on them. It's about time and personally I can't wait.
