Remember to dig out your fire plug

The City of Woodstock and Woodstock Fire Rescue District would like you to remember to dig out your fire plug. If the firefighters roll up to your residence or business, you won't want them to waste valuable time digging out, or even finding, your fire plug.

The recommendation is to dig out about two feet around it, in order to allow plenty of access for connecting hoses. And why not wipe off the nuts, too, so that the wrenches will go on fast?

Thanks!

No. The city snow plow drivers buried them; They can come out next week and un-bury them. I have homeowners insurance.

Yep, same over here. Couldn't believe it when I saw the plow do that.
