A program on bullying prevention for middle and high school students and their parents will be presented by McHenry County College's student honor society (Phi Theta Kappa) and Principled Minds, a Woodstock non-profit organization. On Saturday, October 23, from 8:00AM (8AM on a Saturday for students?) until 2:00PM, the program will be presented at MCC in the Commons.
Students can choose two break-out sessions from the six to be offered: Same-sex relationship issues; healthy relationships; ethnic and racial issues; self-image; peer issues; and electronic safety.
Separate seminars on the same issues will be offered to parents.
The $10.00 per person costs covers a t-shirt, entertainment and refreshments. For information and registration, visit www.dontkickpenguins.org or email Harold Rail at hprail@yahoo.com
