This week-end will be the Woodstock VFW's Oktoberfest, starting Thursday and ending on Sunday. The VFW is located at 240 Throop Street, Woodstock.
I don't know if you get in with your favorite, personal beer stein, but commemorative mugs can be purchased and filled all week-end at a special price. Live music on Saturday night.
As far as I know, this event is open to the public and you do not have to be a member of the VFW. If you know someone who is, you might ask before you go.
Look for the flier around town. And, remember ... if you drink, ride with a designated driver. An expensive DUI will certainly spoil your week-end fun.
