Did NWH hide sheriffs' forum article?

A reader asked me this morning where the Northwest Herald article is that ran Tuesday morning after the Illinois Policy Institute forum Monday night at MCC.

A search on the NWH website this morning doesn't find it. The reader's comment to me was, "It had so many bad comments about Nygren."

"OK, editors at the Northwest Herald. Where is it?"

Did people really come out of the woodwork to blast Nygren? Why would they do that? Don't they know that "experience counts"?

When I saw his use of "experience" this year, I wondered if he had 40 years of experience or one year of experience, 40 times.

Keith says he won't lay anyone off. Let's see how long he'll keep that promise, if I.C.E. relocates all those immigration detainees to Thomson Penitentiary or to some other holding place that they can stock for less than $90/day. Then there will be massive lay-offs in Corrections and a big drain on the County. Haven't heard any talk of planning for that possibility; have you?

Did anyone bookmark that article on Tuesday morning?

A reader advises that searching for "MCC Forum" will find Tuesday's article. I had searched by Philpott and by Nygren and did not find the article.

It's here: http://www.nwherald.com/articles/2010/10/12/r_ac8luj8or7ao2gcsno5jlg/
