A town hall meeting titled "McHenry County Crises:Youth Binge Drinking, Prescription Medication Abuse, and Heroin" will be held on Monday, April 12, 2010, from 6:00PM to 8:30PM at the Woodstock (Ill.) Opera House.

The 2008 Illinois Youth Survey reports show that McHenry County students were binge drinking above the State of Illinois average in Grades 6, 8 and 12. Read that sentence again.

These problems are obviously not just problems in McHenry County. They are statewide and nationwide.
