Grafton Trustees blink

The Grafton Township Trustees have changed their minds on attendance restrictions for the Annual Town Meeting.

Now?

Now you must only be a registered voter to vote at the Township meeting. The attendance restriction has disappeared - the one that was intended to allow only registered voters (and press) into the meeting itself.

I wonder how many complaints for the anticipated FOIA violation were in the draft stage in McHenry County...

The Annual Township Meeting will be held at Huntley High School - Central Gym, 13719 Harmony Road, Huntley. Enter through Door 19. The Meeting is scheduled for Tuesday, April 13, 2010, 7:00PM.

Catch the wording in the announcement: "Your (sic) invited." This kind of makes me wonder, "Your (what) is invited."

Hello? Doesn't anyone proofread announcements? Or did someone proofread it?

Pam Fender is in charge of the website.

She admits she made the error on the Huntley Neighbors website and apologizes as well.

Oops, I meant to say that she apologizes for the error of restricting attendance. Not for the spelling errors - ROFL!

Somebody might want to let her/them know that the Trustees are responsible for her errors.

It was the tactic of a bully that resulted in the first notice. Did she/they really think they were going to get away with that?

I went to one meeting. That was enough for me. They ALL need to be voted out at the next election.
