Right to Carry Assn. meeting Thursday

The McHenry County Right to Carry Association will meet Thursday, March 25th at 7:00PM at the VFW Hall in McHenry. The address is 3002 West Route 120, McHenry.

This is the first meeting after IGOLD. The Association now has over 100 members. Come on out and hear legislative updates and other news of interest to proponents of concealed carry in Illinois.

Note: please leave your guns at home. Empty holsters? Not sure... but why not?

You know? The Students for Concealed Carry on Campus (www.concealedcampus.com) have sponsored some "empty holster" days. I wonder if we could get the locals used to the idea by wearing empty holsters, concealed or not.

Has anyone been to Wisconsin and carried your firearm in a holster openly on your belt?

Check out the Association's new website at www.mcr2ca.com You can't sign up online yet, but you can print an application and mail it in with your $20.00 (or more).
