Was there just a "little" error in the wire report published in this morning's paper about the flood level of the Red River in Fargo, North Dakota? The article read, "The latest flood forecast from the National Weather Service shows the river rising to 320 feet above flood stage in Fargo by week's end."
Think maybe the NWS meant 32.0 feet above flood stage?
Fargo stands at 904 feet above sea level. For a view of how the Red River twists through Fargo, go to Google Maps and zoom in on the satellite view.

Red River seems to flood every, or everyother year, when Spring arrives.
TMD is not a big fan of "water" in geeral... ie, water sports, swimming (I float cuz of my beer-gut), boating, etc. My trailer is on high ground so I will never have to deal with a flood...
...unless the 320-foot flood level is not an error...
