Congratulations to Andy Zinke upon his selection for the position of Undersheriff of the McHenry County Sheriff's Department.
The NWH article set the stage for Keith Nygren's retirement, either before or after the November 2, 2010 General Election.
Look at what Zinke has to offer (or, rather, doesn't have to offer). Go to www.MCSDExposed.blogspot.com to see all the puddles into which Zinke has avoided stepping over the years.
Yes, McHenry County, there is hope.
Hope that injury to senior citizens will no longer occur, such as when Mr. and Mrs. Pavlin were injured after their son was arrested and removed from their home and securely placed in a patrol car.
Hope that, when a deputy causes a crash, his name will be left as "Unit 1" and that MCSD will pay the not-at-fault driver for her loss.
Hope that deputies who drive drunk will be harshly dealt with.
Hope that a Bounty on a citizen will never be the topic of discussion during roll call.
