When Undersheriff Zinke wrote to the Chicago office of the FBI on December 3, 2010, what did he say? That letter was sent about three weeks after the revelations of Deputy Scott Milliman during a deposition in Zane Seipler civil rights' lawsuit against the Sheriff Nygren, the McHenry County Sheriff's Department and several deputies.
This is the letter of which the sheriff's department has no record. Why would there be no official copy of this letter? Shouldn't it have been on Zinke's computer or his secretary's computer?
After you read it, you may join others in wishing it had been "misplaced" by the FBI, too.
The FBI redacted the signature block, removing Zinke's signature and title. On January 4, 2011, Assistant SAC Angela Byers replied to this letter, addressing Undersheriff Zinke and referring to the date on this letter. (The FBI has lost its copy of her letter!)
