Beth Bentley - gone 147 weeks

The Northwest Herald has published an obituary of Beth's father, Ronald B. Rogers.

Mr. Rogers, 82, most recently of Wauconda and formerly of Harvard and Algonquin, passed away on Thursday, March 15, 2013, at Advocate Good Shepherd Hospital in Barrington.

Beth is mentioned in the obituary but not that she has been missing since May 23, 2010. The obituary presumes that Beth is living and, indeed, the case at the Woodstock Police Department is still listed on its website as a Missing Person case. The flier on the police website remains unchanged since November 2010 and is due to expire on May 11.

Mr. Rogers was born in Chicago on May 11, 1930. His three sons are mentioned in the obituary: Ronald Michaelson (of the Phoenix, Arizona area), Lewis Michaelson and Brett Rogers (Woodstock). Among the grandchildren mentioned are Beth's sons, Jeremy Velmont, Joshua Velmont and C.J. Bentley, all believed to live in McHenry County.

Scott Bentley, Beth's husband, is not mentioned in the obituary, although spouses of two of Beth's married brothers are mentioned.

Services will be at Schneider-Leucht-Merwin & Cooney Funeral Home, Woodstock. See the obituary for details.
