NRA vs. Obama

We, up here in the northern part of the United States, are far removed from Texas, New Mexico and Arizona. But I've lived in those three states.

Watch this short piece about Obama and Mexico's president Felipe Calderón. What Obama did not mention in his speech in Mexico was Operation Fast & Furious.

Why are sheriffs in the Southwest so upset? Because they are on the front line!

"Corruption in Mexico is not a problem; it is an institution."

Janet Napolitano, Secretary of the Department of Homeland Security (DHS), said she knows that border as well as anyone. What a load of B.S. And then she has the gall to interrupt a Senator who is attempting to ask her a question. Just look at her. Do you trust her? I don't!

DHS is the government agency buying up millions of rounds of ammunition - enough for a war of 30 years!

And the government doesn't want me to have a high-powered rifle with a large-capacity magazine?

Janet Napolitano used to be the governor of Arizona. I suspect she knows something about the border. I just don't think she cares. I share your lack of trust in her.

On the subject of DHS buying billions of rounds of ammo: There are 2 things going on her. First, there is a whole bunch of fraud or crony capitalism going on.

One contract winning company did not even exist the week before they submitted a bid, and seems to have "ghosts" as officers of record, a total lack of a D&B existence or rating, and is offering to supply ammunition at a price that appears to be far to low to be real.

Second, these contracts are multi-year with ammunition being delivered over time. That means that Congress can pull back the purchases just by not authorizing the appropriation. One of the major suppliers (ATK) is already at capacity in providing rounds for existing government contracts.

The regime and the Democrats want to erase the Second Amendment. I think they had their moment shortly after Sandy Hook, and I believe that moment has passed nationally.

The left is trying to tip a few states. If they succeed, watch a backlash that will make the 1994 and 2010 Congressional elections look like pattycake.
