Big Brother is (still) watching

Thanks to a reader, we can all know about a CNN.com story about attempts at censorship.

From the CNN.com story, "In one incident cited in the report, a U.S. law enforcement agency asked Google to take down a blog that 'allegedly defamed a law enforcement official in a personal capacity.' The company did not comply with that request."

See the whole CNN.com story at
www.cnn.com/2012/06/18/tech/web/google-transparency-report/index.html?hpt=hp_t1

Definition of "defame"? From www.m-w.com, "to harm the reputation of by libel or slander"

So, if the nasty stuff is true, then it's not defamation.
