Beth Bentley, 41 when she went missing in May 2010, was quickly classified as an Endangered Missing Person by the Woodstock Police Department.
Yet "endangered" was never explained. On what did they make that determination? Would this information help to find Beth, even now?
The CUE Center recently posted an alert for an endangered missing woman in Henderson, Texas. The 72-year-old woman is reported to suffer from Alzheimer's Disease and may be in need of medical attention. OK, so she is "endangered".
Now, what about Beth Bentley?
When asked about this in 2010, the Woodstock Police Department responded with a generic description of "endangered" but did not attribute any of the indicators to Beth Bentley.
This case has never been classified as other than a missing person case. Is there anyone left who thinks that is still the case if, indeed, it ever was?
If Beth Bentley is "missing", is anyone looking for her? Is there evidence that she isn't just missing? Is it normal for suspicions of foul play to arise in a missing person case?
Was there any money unaccounted for in her personal life or at the office?
Was there drug use in her background? Money owed?
If there was any sexual promiscuity, could that have led to her disappearance?
Would medical records reveal any remarkable events, such as unplanned pregnancy?
Did careful evaluation of phone records lead investigators to questionable contacts?
Beth has been missing over two years. Maybe she's not "missing".

I was reading about the poor girl in Detroit that was set on fire and shot in the back who survived and went on to deliver her baby within days, recently. Her baby's father and an accomplice were the perpetrators. Beth's case crossed my mind, as it often does, because of the rumors that she was pregnant. You know, the leading cause of death for pregnant women is homicide. That is such a shocking fact! Bless Beth's heart, I'm still praying that she will be located and that all of the facts surrounding her disappearance will come to light!
