Crystal Lake PD wants Patrick Christy, 18

The following press release was issued by the Crystal Lake (Ill.) Police Department. Wanted is Patrick Christy, white, male, born 12/13/1992, of Woodstock. Contact Crime Stoppers if you know his whereabouts.

On November 15^th, 2010, the Crystal Lake Police Department received information concerning an Armed Robbery that had occurred in the 600 block of Golf Rd., Crystal Lake.  The victim, a 20 year old Crystal Lake resident, reported that on the evening of November 14, 2010, three subjects armed with knives and two subjects armed with handguns, ordered him to the ground, at which time one of the subjects removed his wallet from his pants. 

The subsequent investigation revealed that prior to the robbery the victim had been contacted on his cellular phone by an unknown female who wanted to purchase cannabis. The victim stated that he agreed to meet with the unknown female and upon doing so was subsequently robbed by five masked individuals who took his wallet and his cannabis.

The victim’s telephone history revealed that the unidentified caller, who had originally arranged to meet with the victim, contacted him from a cellular telephone belonging to Stephine M. Calder. Upon further investigation, police were able to identify the other five subjects.

Ø   Thomas J. Schomer (M/W, 11/09/93),

98 Lesley Lane, Crystal Lake, IL

(Taken into custody 12/29/10 and turned over to the McHenry Co. Sheriff’s Adult Correctional Facility.)

Ø   Justin MA Peters (M/W, 8/31/93)

440 Mary Lane, Crystal Lake, IL

(Taken into custody 01/02/11 and turned over to the McHenry Co. Sheriff’s Adult Correctional Facility.)

Ø   Eric C. Chartrand (M/W, 4/22/93),

437 Highland Avenue, Crystal Lake, IL

(Taken into custody 12/31/10 and turned over to the McHenry Co. Sheriff’s Adult Correctional Facility.)

Ø   Stephanie M. Calder (F/W, 9/8/92) 1047 Autumn Drive, Crystal Lake, IL (Surrendered herself on 12/30/10, posted bond, and was released.)

Ø    A 16 year old male juvenile resident of Crystal Lake (The 16 year old juvenile was remanded to Kane County Juvenile Detention Center until 01/14/11.)

Ø   Patrick J. Christy (M/W, 12/13/92), 2073 Willowbrooke Drive, #C, Woodstock, IL (Remains at large and is wanted on a warrant with the bond set at $100,000.00)

The aforementioned subjects were each charged with one count of Aggravated Robbery (Class 1 Felony), Theft from Person (Class 3 Felony), and Aggravated Battery (Class 3 Felony).  Bond for all of the adults was set at $60,000 or 10% with a court date of January 10^th, 2011, with the exception of Patrick J. Christy. Christy currently remains at large, with a warrant issued for his arrest.  Anyone having information in regard to the location of Patrick J.
