Bianchi's attorney slams special prosecutor

Be sure to read Cal Skinner's story today about what actions of special prosecutor in the Bianchi case made Bianchi's attorney so mad.

It seems that special prosecutor Henry Tonigan communicated directly with Judge Gordon Graham about this case, without informing Bianchi's attorney, Terry Ekl.

http://mchenrycountyblog.com/2011/01/03/bianchi-attorney-terry-ekl-complains-about-ex-parte-communication-by-special-prosecutor-with-judge-gordon-graham/

Let's simply it: let's say that your wife and you are divorcing. Her attorney goes to the judge without your attorney and makes some damaging statements. Think you'll get a fair trial after that?

The ex-parte communication supposedly is dated on November 18, 2009. Where has it been for a year???

Looks like we're all in for more smoke and mirrors. Your example would make sense if Judge Prather was the one they were communicating with. Judge Graham appointed the special prosecutor and Judge Graham - to hear Ekl out - is the one who controls the special prosecutor. Judge Prather is who the case is before, not Judge Graham. So let's simply say that Ekl doesn't like one little bit the fact that the special prosecutor is uncovering dirt that may be used to bury his client. Oh well!

Or is Tonigan shoveling dry, powdery manure in a strong wind?

Even drive by a feed lot? Your feet won't get dirty as you drive by, your nose will want you to get out of there fast.

Maybe Judge Graham should have gagged everybody a long time ago.

So Bianchi not liking (actually hating)Nygren and the bloggers wanting to see dirt on Nygren, trumps finding out if Bianchi is really wrong....maybe the cow chips should just fall on their own..Lets take care of the Bianchi BS or should I say cow chiups first. They the courts do their thing.

Who loses? We have a failed State's Attorney that most cops distrust and a Sheriff that spends more time defending lawsuits than running a department.
