Groundhog Club - Friday, 5:00-7:00PM

The new networking group in Woodstock will meet tomorrow, Friday, Jan. 14, 5:00-7:00PM, at D.C. Cobb's, 226 Main St., Woodstock. Street parking is available on Main St. or on Benton St., or park in one of the City parking lots behind the movie theater or by the train depot on Clay Street.

Bring business cards, fliers, brochures, resumes, whatever. This free networking opportunity is sponsored by the Woodstock Chapter of the Punxsutawney Groundhog Club (not affiliated with the City's Groundhog Day committee). It's free, as in f-r-e-e. It is not a membership (paid, I mean), like the limited clubs or the sub-groups of chambers of commerce. You do not have to cough up money to spend more money.

Bring friends, neighbors, co-workers, clients, customers. The more, the merrier. Your only cost is whatever you drink or eat.

It's business (or social) networking, under social and fun conditions.

Every week the group will meet at a different location, sometimes in Woodstock; sometimes elsewhere in McHenry County. To learn where the week's meeting is, visit http://www.woodstockgroundhogclub.info/ or send an email to WdkGroundhogClub@aol.com
