Drones used in U.S. - did you say not?

Are drones being used on U.S. soil?

You probably said, "No way."

How do you like your words? With ketchup? Mustard? Want fries with that order?

Mueller admitted the use of drones on U.S. soil. Republican Senator Charles Grassley of Iowa nailed FBI Director Robert Mueller during a Senate Judiciary Committee hearing. Retirement in September won't come soon enough for Mueller. How fast can he skate between now and then?

And the U.S. Government and Obama wonder why people don't trust them? And let's throw Quinn and Culleton and the Madigans and Emanuel right in the pot with them.

The best quote in this morning's Northwest Herald was in a Letter to the Editor by Jackie Petersen, when she quoted Benjamin Franklin in her letter under the heading "Where is the outrage?" She wrote,“Those who desire to give up freedom in order to gain security will not have, nor do they deserve, either one.”

Gus, I agree with your point of view on many issues.

This issue however is much deeper and much more up to date in today's USA than it was back in Ben's day.

Consider this. Those middle easterners can plan to blow thing's up here on US Soil on a Monday, and get on a plane and execute that plan by Tuesday.

The world is no longer "Oceans Away."

If people have done nothing wrong, then I don't think most mind or even care who hears them. If the US wants to listen to me complain to my friend about all my aches and pains, let em.

But, as described above, if they are listening in to phone calls in say, Jersey City, NJ, which is hard core Muslim territory here on our soil, and that allows our government to work to stop a plot that can take us by surprise within 24 hours, I am not sure we really have any other choice.

It is all concerning to be sure. But, so is preserving a world for our children.

We live in an era where hate seems to be in vogue. From our own school yards to those abroad.

"Greed" has perpetuated this 'Need!"
