P.R. bond? - you're kidding

Lake County deputies stopped a car in Gurnee last night and arrested two, while also taking a female passenger into custody.

According to a Chicago Tribune article, the deputies determined that the driver, Samuel Alcock, 48, Waukegan, was driving with a suspended license and driving with no insurance. Alcock was let go on a personal recognizance (PR) bond. Man! Who does he know???

His male passenger, Gordon L. Johnson, 45, North Chicago, was charged with unlawful possession of a controlled substance and aggravated unlawful use of a weapon. The deputies found a loaded handgun on the floor near where Johnson was sitting. Johnson was on parole for a homicide and reportedly had crack cocaine in his possession. He's in jail on a $40,000 bond.

An endangered missing person (female) from the Fox Lake area was in the car with them.

Now, you tell me what's wrong with this picture. Deputies stop a car, driver has no valid license and no insurance, passenger has a loaded gun and is on parole for homicide, and a missing female is in the back seat, and you let the driver go on a P.R. bond?
