Dorr residents safer now

Thanks to a new notice posted at the Dorr Township offices in Woodstock, residents should now feel safer when attending Township meetings or calling on Township officials at the offices.

This no-nonsense message has been posted on the door leading to the inner sanctum. It's nice to know that Township officials are looking out for the safety and welfare of the residents in just one more way.

A zero-tolerance policy is good. There will arise, I suspect, a question of just what profanity, verbal "abuse" or physical "abuse" is. One woman's freedom of speech might be considered profanity by another.

By the way, the excitement resumes tonight, February 8, at 7:30PM at the monthly meeting of Dorr Township trustees and officials. Come one, come all.
