Beth Bentley - missing 11 weeks!

Now it's official. Eleven weeks.

Beth Bentley, 41, has been missing for 11 weeks - since May 23. Not a word. No phone calls to her family. No use of credit cards reported to the public by police (which doesn't mean no use; just none reported to the public). No use of cell phone from Beth's phone. Beth was described early-on as a "serial caller/texter".
The image to the right was "borrowed" from the Facebook page of one very interested person, not even from northern Illinois.

No foul play? Gone 11 weeks without a trace! And no suspicion of foul play?

A close friend of the family wrote on Facebook on Thursday, August 5, "In the last few days I have contacted: Centralia PD, Mt. Vernon PD, Jefferson County Sherriff, Marion County Sherriff, Illinois State Police and Woodstock PD asking for areas that have been searched and eliminated from consideration.

"The area most thoroughly searched has been center city Centralia, IL. Since the police have never been able to determine a clear direction that Beth went, they have not been able to pinpoint where to go search, and have not done any other searches.

"LE states, 'If we have a reason to search in an area, we will send someone out.'"

I am reminded of the sentence, "I have so much to do that I don't know where to start; so I won't."

I am blown away that in 11 weeks the several law enforcement agencies can search only in central Centralia, Ill., apparently near the Amtrak station. Hellooooooo????

It looks to me like we the People are going to have to take over here. There are even people right here in McHenry County who likely have information that might be helpful, but they have not been interviewed.
(See? There are two people in McHenry County who spell it sherriff (sic). The family friend and a printer here in the County (who can remain unidentified).)
