The McHenry County Right to Carry Association (MCR2CA) met last night, and 26 members and guests attended. The Association continues to grow and has hit the 150 mark in membership.
Approximately 360 attended a town hall meeting in September in Lakemoor. Lou Rofrano, founder and president, remarked that 35-40% of the audience at the town hall meeting were women.
New chairmen were selected for four committees:
Political Liaison: Lou Rofrano (anyone like to co-chair with Lou?)
Community Education: Gus Philpott
Events & Fundraising: Jerry Gardner
Legislative: Rick Pere
The MCR2CA is non-partisan and does not endorse candidates for public office.
The next meeting will be Thursday, November 11, 2010, 7:00-8:30PM, at the VFW Hall on Route 120, just east of the Fox River, in McHenry. Put this on your calendar now and bring a friend.
