Window Peeping Trial

On Wednesday of this week, March 11, the case of a man charged with window peeping and resisting arrest is set for trial in Judge Weech's court at 9:00AM in Room 301.

This case started on November 5, when a neighbor spotted a man allegedly peeping through the window of a neighbor's apartment. The neighbor called the Woodstock Police Department. As luck would have it, officers were in the next block and responded immediately on foot, cutting through back yards to the next street.

Marco Villegas, 61, was charged with window-peeping and resisting arrest.

On Wednesday a Marco Villegas (the same or a different person of similar name) will answer to charges for improper lane usage, operating an uninsured vehicle and DUI in Judge Meyer's courtroom at 8:30AM.

Having cases in two different courtrooms on the same day in McHenry County is tricky for a court watcher. You don't want to miss both, trying to figure out which case is being heard at what time.

Wouldn't it be nice if judges scheduled trials for specific times, or at least time-slots?
