Widespread search underway

I've started getting calls about a widespread search underway for a McHenry County Sheriff's deputy, who is wanted on a felony warrant issued by the Illinois State Police. From what I am hearing, Crystal Lake, Algonquin and Woodstock, and perhaps many other departments, are looking for the deputy, a sergeant in the Sheriff's Department with SWAT Team training and who may have Department weapons in his vehicle.

Still trying to get the Illinois State Police to confirm the name, before I publish it, but I have it.

Where is NIXLE when you need it? You'd think that NIXLE would be used to warn residents and to alert them to the vehicle of the wanted person. Police radio traffic is reportedly including "heavily armed" in its broadcasts about this wanted person.
