Does anyone know the last time Sheriff Nygren graced his Government Center office with his presence?
Isn't it a little strange that two deaths in the County, over near Island Lake, on December 31 don't merit a statement or a press conference by the county sheriff?
Where is he? Minocqua? Cape Coral? The Panama Canal, again?
Mileage records on the Tahoe ought to indicate his presence or absence from McHenry County. I wonder what those mileage and maintenance records would really show. It was only a few miles (10-11) from his Hebron home to 2200 N. Seminary Ave. Oh, wait; he hasn't lived there for some months. And then there were those four months that he shouldn't have lived there.
Those months were after he sold the house to Bryan Krause, but Nygren refused to move out. Did he pay Fair Market Value rent for those four months? Did he pay "any" rent for those four months? Was there language in the Purchase Contract that he could live there rent-free after closing?
It's a little farther to the office now, so that Tahoe odometer (if he is still driving the Tahoe) ought to be showing approximately 11.7-12.0 miles each way to work now. So, say 25 miles/day or 125 mi./week Plus any necessary official-business miles during the day.
Any trips to Galena last year? How many trips to the airport and who drove? Or did some deputy drive him to O'Hare? And for that trip to the Panama Canal? Being that was a vacation, did he take a limo at his personal expense?
Is McHenry County better off with him gone on vacation for $12,500/month, or should he only take 4-5 weeks' vacation/year and be at work the rest of the time? Like, 40 hours/week, like other people.
Is Nygren in town tonight for Kathy Seith's retirement party? She retired from the Equal Employment Officer position at MCSD, and her party is at the Red Mill Tavern tonight. Did she keep out of at least some hot water over the past few years? He'll be there to congratulate her, won't he?
Will Woodstock PD be monitoring drivers as they leave the party? You know, looking for drivers not stopping before entering the roadway, weaving, forgettng to signal turns, safety equipment checks?
Yeah, sure....
