Will it be necessary to increase the price of a stamp, so that the Post Office can find the $50-100 to repair the deposit chute on a drop-box in front of the Woodstock Post Office? Let's hope not.
This chute was damaged sometime back, and the USPS hasn't repaired it. Why not?
There is probably a truck or an SUV roaming around Woodstock with USPS paint on it. Somebody just got too close.
It's way past time for the repairs. Next time you are in the Post Office, ask the window clerk to ask the Postmaster to get it fixed.
