May MCSD Merit Commission mtg. - canceled

The May monthly meeting of the Merit Commission of the Sheriff's Department, normally held on the second Wednesday of the month, was canceled. You would think maybe they'd want an update of the lawsuits involving them; but, then again, maybe not.

Once you get there, you'll see the biographical sketches of the chairperson and of two Commissioners. If you are one who is impressed with wordiness, you'll like the chairperson's profile.

But what about the other two Commissioners, Bill Mack and Brian Goode?

Mack and Goode have been Commissioners since August 20, 2002. And that's the end of their profiles. Actually, the profiles never get started, because the date of appointment is shown for each of the five.

So, who are Bill Mack and Brian Goode? In 7 1/2 years haven't they noticed that their profiles aren't shown? In 7 1/2 years hasn't the sheriff had time, in between vacations in Minocqua and Cape Coral, to write up a little blurb for his hand-picked buddies and see that it gets posted?

Or is there some other reason that no background is shown for Commissioners Mack and Goode?
