Half a brain in Delaware

The Associated Press is reporting tonight that the Christina School Board, after exposing Zachary Christie, age 6 and first grade student to expulsion and 45 days in a reform school, has "voted unanimously to reduce the punishment for kindergartners and first-graders who take weapons to school or commit violent offenses to a suspension ranging from three to five days."

They still don't have it right.

1. He didn't take a "weapon" to school.
2. He didn't commit a violent offense.

They'll probably throw that soggy piece of bread at Zach's mom and tell her it's better than Zach's getting kicked out of school. She should toss it right back at them and say, "No deal!"

He is "Not Guility", deserves an apology and should to go right back into first grade!
