One of my friends over at www.McHenryCountyRadio.net, Jim Mathews, directed my attention today to a Letter in the Editor in today's Northwest Herald about the Illinois Lieutenant Governor's position. Jim said all the Lt. Gov. does is run around smiling for photographs.
Hey, give me that job. Does it pay? How's the retirement plan?
I looked in the paper for that letter but didn't find it.

Maybe he meant this article which states the duties of that position are next to nothing.
