Old virus warning, but real

I received an email today about a new virus circulating. After checking snopes.com, I learned that the virus is real, the warning is real, but the email with the virus began circulating over a year ago. Since it is real, I'll post the warning here.

The email read:

"New Virus (NO JOKE)" (only it's a year old)

"This is legitimate. Please pass this along to your friends.

"The newest virus circulating is the UPS/FedEx/DHL Delivery Failure.

"You will receive an email from UPS/Fed Ex Service along with a packet (tracking?) number. It will say that they were unable to deliver a package sent to you on such-and-such a date.

"It then asks you to print out the invoice copy attached.

"DON'T TRY TO PRINT THIS. IT LAUNCHES THE VIRUS!

"Pass this warning on to PC operators at work and home.

"Snopes confirms that it is real: www.snopes.com/computer/virus/ups.asp"

(Of course, you ought to be wondering how the delivery service would get your email address; right?)
