Tanks Rolling Through Woodstock?

What would you do if you heard tanks rolling up Dean Street in Woodstock? Scary, eh?

Read this December 23rd article about the potential use of U.S. military forces to quell disturbances in our cities - cities right here in the U.S.A. Click on the link:

If something like this could possibly be on our horizon, then we need information NOW from our City and County government leaders, and we need to tell them what we want them to do.

What steps are in place at the Woodstock Police Department to handle any major disturbance in Woodstock? If they can't handle it, whom do they call? McHenry County Sheriff's Department? If so, what is its response plan? And, if it can't handle it, who gets called? The Illinois State Police?

What if unrest breaks out in several parts of McHenry County and law enforcement is overwhelmed with calls for response?

What if major unrest breaks out in Chicago? Will our law enforcement agencies send personnel there? At what detriment to our own town?

At what point do I break out my own firearms and stand ready to protect myself, my family and my property, and that of my neighbors?

Do I have to fear my own law enforcement agencies, which might turn on me - a law-abiding citizen ready to defend himself?

What is the Plan in Woodstock? We citizens have the right to know. How do we find out?

Theres a law that basically explains that military forces can not be used for domestic law enforcement.

ace, you might want to click on the link and read the NewsMax article. It explains how the DoD might skirt that law.

Although the military might have to very temporarily assist in keeping or restoring the peace, the People had better be in charge of any use of martial law. Read the end about ditching the Constitution in the event of nuclear attack.

Again, the People had better be in charge - no matter what. The military (and local police agencies) work for the People, not the other way around.

New Orleans was almost the same situation. There was some major unrest in the downtown area. I dont think it will become anything like a dictatorship that you fear.

Right. And New Orleans is where the Second Amendment rights of residents were trashed, their guns confiscated and allowed to rust. I understand that some of them still have not been returned to their lawful owners.

It sure better not happen like that around here.

find the owners manual you fool said...

Or what?
