False Advertising

A friend forwarded an email of an offer of a Free 2009 Sarah Palin calendar. While I knew that "nothing" is free, I clicked through to view it. And, yes, it is free - IF you buy a magazine subscription and a Reagan CD for $39.95. So much for "free".

Let's hope the Feds crack down on Newsmax.com for its shoddy and misleading advertising practices.

Let's face it; I was secretly hoping that one month's calendar would have the picture of Sarah that I received recently, titled "Tragedy up North." Pictured was Sarah with her moose-hunting rifle with mounted scope and behind her, above the mantel, was the head of a reindeer with a red nose and the name plaque, "(well, you know who)".

Sure smelled like "bait-and-switch" to me...

The pictures would definitely be more interesting than the Obama calendar. Every month same smile same wave different suit and tie.
