Does anyone have the new local telephone number for the Woodstock Social Security office?
They have disconnected 815.338.3751 and may be trying to force all callers to the tollfree 800/ number (800.772.1213), where you must plow through menu after menu after menu to try to figure out the right extension and then deal with a "customer service" person in a call center.
I get 3-4 calls/week for Social Security and would like to be able to provide the correct number to callers.

I thing the game plan is everyone calls the call center and not a local person directly. I suspect you're going to have to get someone's direct dial number there, but I don't think they would appreciate it if you started giving that number out,
I concur with MBlue... you should be directed to a single-point-of-contact (SPOC) Call Center.... where Jugdish, Haji, or Peggy will be able to help you. DOH!
Why don't you just advise your clients to play by the rules and call the numbers which are provided?
If that doesn't work, then maybe they could call Walsh's office or whomever their representative happens to be.
