In the 900 block of North Seminary Avenue (Woodstock) is a message on the front message board at a local church. Read it, and then think about it.
The character of a nation - its moral fiber, its compassion, its fairness - is its cornerstone. That character determines whether its strength - its "might" - will be used properly, correctly, justly, fairly.
Our national leaders desperately need "character" - quality, ethics, wisdom, and integrity. These are the qualities of a great nation, of a great people.

I hope that the church and all the churches, temples, places of worship of all kinds and all individual Americans pray for that wish for strength in character. I include myself. Amen.
