I have recommended that D200 immediately conduct a survey of parents to find out why so few attended, and I proposed the following as a starting list. The Parent U was not just for D-200 parents. They invited parents from McHenry High School District 156, Harvard School District 50, Johnsburg School District 12 and Alden-Hebron School District 19.
Don't you think more than 60 parents could have shown up? The speakers and the topics were Great! A lot of work went into creating it, and about 25 organizations sponsored tables with information. Where were the parents?
